Greenville Attorney Timothy E. Burch

Timothy E. Burch is the founder of the Burch Law Office.  Born and raised in Washington State, he attended Washington State University and then attended law school at Arizona State University.  He is married to Christine Burch, M.D., a pediatric neurologist, and they have one daughter.

Mr. Burch first worked on behalf of United States Senator Dennis DeConcini in his capacity on the Senate Judiciary Committee in Washington, D.C.  After law school, Mr. Burch went into private practice in Charlotte, North Carolina where he was associated with two very successful personal injury law firms.  Attorney Timothy Burch litigated in excess of 150 jury trials in civil cases ranging from minor fender bender accidents to very complicated injury cases.  Mr. Burch was a frequent speaker at seminars in the Charlotte area where he taught practical litigation skills to other lawyers.

When Dr. Christine Burch was offered a position in Greenville, North Carolina, it was the perfect opportunity for Mr. Burch to form a firm dedicated to protecting the rights of those injured in car accidents or who sustained injuries at the workplace.  It was also a perfect opportunity to provide high quality legal services to those charged with criminal offenses, particularly those charged with drug and alcohol offenses including driving while impaired (DWI), possession of marijuana, underage drinking and many traffic related offenses such as speeding, driving while license revoked, and reckless driving.

If you are looking for a dedicated and experienced lawyer who isn’t afraid to fight for your rights and interests, you have come to the right place.

Greenville Attorney Mark D. Stewart

The Burch Law Office is pleased to have former Pitt County Prosecutor, Mark D. Stewart, associated with the law firm.  Mr. Stewart will utilize the knowledge, skills, and experienced he gained while at the District Attorney's Office to assist our clients charged with criminal offenses.  Mr. Stewart will also practice in the areas of divorce and family law.  A 2004 graduate of Barton College with a degree in Mass Communications cum laude, Mr. Stewart then earned his juris doctorate from Liberty University.  While in law school, Mr. Stewart co-founded the Liberty University School of Law's alternative dispute resolution team and went on to become a national champion in negotiation.  After graduating from law school, Mr. Stewart went to work for the State of North Carolina as an Assistant District Attorney in Pitt County.

Having prosecuted thousands of cases for the state of North Carolina, Mark utilizes the skills and knowledge he learned as a prosecutor to assist clients of the Burch Law Office.

In the areas of divorce, domestic, and family law, Mark draws upon his experience as the designated Domestic Violence prosecutor for Pitt County where he worked diligently to resolve family conflicts.  Mark has jury trial experience and looks forward to offering high quality legal services to our clients.
